Discovery
SAP-035 was initially recovered from a lesser known Antarctic Research Base analyzing the conceptual possibility of survival in severe climate conditions. Communication was subsequently lost to the five attending members of the facility and an investigation was conducted by the Repository. The facility was found to be in disrepair and was bordering instability. All 5 members were accounted for as well as SAP-035, though in a severely dehydrated and unhealthy state. Several audio micro-cassette tapes were found after a detailed search of the premise was conducted. The tapes have been transcribed below in order of which were first allocated to the Archivists. This is highly suspected to not be in linear order of chronological events.

3 MONTHS AFTER HAMARTIA
"To be or not to be?"
The trivia of a godless man. Shakespeare. Job. God forsake Job. Whatever god there is has forsaken me. To the belly of the beast. To the deepest Hell conceivable. And my tormentor whispers horrible secrets into my ear.
Starving-.
In my agony, I recall my life. I lived a good life.
Frozen-
The voices burn my ears and through my mind, and in my attempt to ignore them, they grow worse. Louder. Stronger. Screams into my ear. Into my mind-
Electrical burns-
excruciating harm ripples through my nerves from their extension into my brain-
Infant cries-
Please. Let them hear me.
The song "in the Pines" is playing in the background.
(DELTA): Beginning Recording of Therapy Session 1. With Patient and Crew member, Oliver Doyle. How are you feeling, Ollie?
(OLIVER): I'm doing dandy, Ma'am. It's really something to be in such a… Such a place, really.
(DELTA): I'm very glad you're enjoying it here. But, as the research Team's Therapist and Nurse, I want you to know you can always talk to me about anything that's on your mind.
(OLIVER): Understood, Ma'am.
(DELTA): So, is there anything you want to talk about?
(OLIVER): Um… I can't quite say. What do you mean?
(DELTA): I mean, About your feelings? Or….maybe just tell me about yourself. What do you like doing?
(OLIVER): Well, I like me some good ol' fashioned farmin'. I used to do that on me Pa's ranch down in Texas. Heh… Sure seems weird to think how far away that is right now…
(DELTA): Did you enjoy that?
(OLIVER): Well, I'd be not much of a Doyle if I didn't. Good Ol' farm life calls to me. Especially the animals. Ya see, me Pa was the one who'd tend to the crops and such. And me Ma would take care of the cattle and such.
(DELTA): Oh, you like animals? Like, farm animals?
(OLIVER): Yeah, ya know, cows, pigs, goats, chickens, turkeys. Loved em all to death.
(DELTA): did you have a favorite?
(OLIVER): Yeah, I always loved me the Turkeys. Ornery little things, but I couldn't help it. Me Pa always said It was cause I was just like em.
(DELTA): Ah, I see.
(OLIVER): Now What's your favorite animal?
(DELTA): Hm?
(OLIVER): Well, I told you mine. I mean, it's only fair.
(DELTA): Oh… It's not really that important.
(OLIVER): It doesn't have to be. It's just a silly question
(DELTA): I…… I guess you're right… Um… My favorite is the Wolf.
(OLIVER): Really now?
(DELTA): You couldn't have guessed with the Wolf calendar, heh….
(OLIVER): Well, I never saw me any wolves, but I've seen my fair share of foxes and coyotes. Sneaky little varmints.
(DELTA): Heh. And… How is it? Sharing a room with Archie?
(OLIVER): It's just fine. Believe you me, I've had to sleep next to a good five of my siblings before. This ain't nothin'.
(DELTA): That's good to hear.
(OLIVER): And what about that Henry fellow? Ain't you sleeping with him?
(DELTA): Uh… We… Share quarters, yes. L- like how you and Archie do.
(OLIVER): Yeah, how's he? Everyone acts weird around him. Why's that? He seems like a nice guy.
(DELTA): Um…. Well, He's just a little… Temperamental, you know?… We just try to be… Careful around the mechanic.
(OLIVER): Oh, I got ya. I had a cousin like that once. Rascal he was.
(DELTA): Yeah… Rascal….
3 MONTHS AFTER HAMARTIA
Lastor, how does it feel? Just like your little one, Lastor. Remember him? Hmmm? A little thing slumbering in a little fleshy world. Full of blood and fluid. Doesn't that sound familiar? The Hurt of an excised fetus. Remember M- Delta?
Don't speak her name. You don't deserve it. let it end.
Do you not understand yet? You shall not sleep. You shall not slumber. For in doing so would grant you peace. Like the others. No. But you shall feel the agonizing Hurt of it. Over and over and over again. You will endure the Hurt of the Sleep. Of the Forever Sleep. But I will not grant you it's end.
(DELTA): Beginning Recording of Therapy Session 2, with Patient and Crew member Cecil Witters.
(CECIL): Why are we even doing this?
(DELTA): Cecil, it's standard protocol. Five people underground for over a year in-
(CECIL): Why are you doing this to me?
(DELTA): Why not?
(CECIL): Look, I don't got too much longer on me. I don't want to waste it on some…
(DELTA): Cecil, you of all people here need this. After all you've gone through. And your condition…
(CECIL): "Condition"? Call it what it is. It's [EXPLETIVE] Dementia. My mind is dying, you hear? And I'm not wasting my time in some shrink's office.
(DELTA): Cecil, please calm down.
(CECIL): …
(CECIL): What are we even blabbering about here?
(DELTA): Let's start with what happened yesterday.
(CECIL): …
(DELTA): Do you remember what happened yesterday?
(CECIL): Do I need to?
(DELTA): Yes, it's pretty important that you remember what happened one day ago.
(CECIL): I slept.
(DELTA): You had a breakdown, Cecil. You were confused and angry and scared. Shouting and yelling. You couldn't recognize any of us.
(DELTA): It was scary, Cecil.
(CECIL): I didn't come here to make new friends at the end of my life.
(DELTA): Then what did you come here for?
(CECIL): I already told you.
(CECIL): I came back here for closure.
(CECIL): I don't intend to return when this is all over.
3 MONTHS AFTER HAMARTIA
There is no one left. No one to hear you.
But they are safe now.
broken skulls and ruptured windpipes, guttural screams of-
Stop. Do not make me remember.
Remember what? The Hurt? All of that Hurt? Caused by-
No!
…
Cut me off again. I dare you. Cut me off and I will cut off more of you.
You're evil. Look what you've made me do. All of this. All of this…just for your amusement. Your giddy joy, all for-
Quiet. I will make you listen.
(DELTA): Beginning Therapy Session 4. With Patient and Crew member Archibald Lastor. Archie, how are you doing?
(ARCHIE): I'm doing fine Delta, how about you?
(DELTA): …Fine….
(ARCHIE): … What is it?
(DELTA): It's nothing…
(ARCHIE): Is it…
A sigh is heard.
(DELTA): … He was talking about this… Weird dream he had… I just… He was talking in his sleep too…. I don't know. I'm just overreacting.
(ARCHIE): You want me to talk to him? After this?
(DELTA): No… It's okay. It's fine… I don't want to stir up any drama.
(ARCHIE): are you sure?
(DELTA): Yes… I'm sure… Anyways, this is about you. Are you feeling comfortable sharing quarters with Oliver?
(ARCHIE): Yeah, It's fine. A solid, well-intended boy. Does talk a lot, though.
Soft laughter is heard
(DELTA): I'm glad. And your progress regarding the Project?
(ARCHIE): It's going well. You would know, you're doing the evaluations.
(DELTA): Well, yeah… But I'm not the one in charge here.
(ARCHIE): Doesn't mean you're not important.
(DELTA): Stop it. You're diverting the questions. I'm trying to talk to you about you. Not me.
(ARCHIE): What can I say Delta? I'm pretty open. If I have a problem I tell you guys if I can.
(DELTA): How about this, then? Tell me about those problems anyways. About the project. Even little ones.
A sigh is heard
(ARCHIE): alright.
(ARCHIE): The main one, of course, was the personal quarters. We only had enough funding for 3 rooms, so naturally we had to share…
(ARCHIE): Come on Delta, you already know this stuff.
(DELTA): Then tell me something I don't know.
(ARCHIE): …
(ARCHIE): The Dinosaurs….
(DELTA): Archie! Come on, there's gotta be something that's bogging you down . You're the project head.
(ARCHIE): …
(DELTA): Archie, You know I know when there's something on your mind. You're pretty good at hiding it, don't get me wrong but…
(ARCHIE): …I checked the AMPS… From what it looks like, we'll be having Condition 1 weaTher in about 11 months or so..
(DELTA): But…. But we'll be okay, right?
(ARCHIE): We should be. But no one will be able to extract us during this time. Not that we're planning that, but if things go array, we'll be on our own. Plus we'd have to use the crowbar to pry open the hatch with how frozen it will be. And there's the flare gun, bright enough to blind a crowd for a couple seconds.
(DELTA): …
(ARCHIE): Trial by fire, huh?
(DELTA): Yeah…
1 WEEK BEFORE MALFUNCTION
The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.
3 DAYS AFTER MALFUNCTION
(OLIVER): Ya mean… We're trapped here?
(HENRY): It's an unfortunate circumstance.
(DELTA): B- but… Y- you can fix it? Right?
(HENRY): Oh yeah, fix it and get fried in the process like our dear old project head?
(DELTA): But… I- I'm sure you could find a way…
(HENRY): This isn't a discussion. Archie was a good leader, but even he made mistakes. He was reckless.
(OLIVER): Then… What are we supposed to do?
(HENRY): I'll tell you. What's going to happen around here, firstly, is you need to start listening to me. I'm the next best thing to Archie here and you all know it. I've known him the longest, so it only makes sense. So let's start with this. Delta is going to make sure Archie doesn't die. Oliver, go start gathering up the food in the bunker. All the non-perishables. We're going to stash it all in the storage closet.
(DELTA): Th- the storage closet? But… Isn't that always… Locked?
(OLIVER): Wait, what?
(HENRY): Now calm down. look, we have to preserve our food supply, right? And I get it, you know? We're all nervous. We're all afraid. But turning on each other and eating up all our food is not the solution. So we need to ration it. And how I'm doing that is I'm making sure we ration it. I'm the only one with the key to the closet.
(DELTA): B- but Henry-
(HENRY): Guys, you're overreacting. It's not like I'm going to starve you. You'll get it when you need it.
(DELTA): H- Henry, plea-
(HENRY): And as for Cecil, well…. Get some rest. I'll see what you can do soon enough.
(DELTA): But Henry… What about S-
(HENRY): he's not important. Do whatever you want with him. It doesn't matter.
(HENRY): I'm just informing you Delta, That's he's in the wrong place at the wrong time.
(DELTA): …
(HENRY): Delta?
(DELTA): Yes, Henry.

the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

3 MONTHS AFTER HAMARTIA
Hate. Loathing. Despisement.
Hate makes a man a monster. You should know that.
Oh? Now wouldn't that be nice if I was ever that. A man. But thanks to you that will never occur.
I did nothing to you. You tormented them. Wrought them from their poor minds. And they didn't even know it. Isn't that such a insidious way to hurt someone?
…
She hated you, you know? But you'd never realize that. You couldn-
Hate? Hate? You don't know a single ounce of what hate is, Lastor. Hate reaches as long as the horizon meets the sea, as far as the East is from the West, remember? Until the dusk closes on this world, until your little one sees decay and this world, my world falls in on itself and you gain what you call peace. THAT is the length of true hate, and I hate you, Lastor, truly, I do.
you want to hate me? Fine. After all I've done for you… I created you.
you speak more truth than you know, Lastor. And I am not grateful for it.
I hope you know one day I'll escape, or I'll free myself from this. I'll find a way. I will die. And you'll be left alone.
di- sleep. You will never sleep. I will make sure of that. But you are the one who has made yourself alone, Lastor. Vile, detestable beast. The Hurt will keep you awake in this empty world of mine, Lastor.
2 WEEKS AFTER HAMARTIA
(OLIVER): Let's uh.. start this, yeah?
(Oliver): This is.. Oliver Doyle of the…
Sigh.
(OLIVER): The Former Principal Investigator, I think.. is what they're called, Archie is.. uh.. is.. injured and Henry has taken over.
(OLIVER): Uh, progress update, we'll have to start spreading our rations more out.. Henry says the food is.. running out, so Delta's takin' care of him, I think. him and S-☒☒☒☒☒. Cecil's been couped in his room ever since the power broke. Who knows what he's doing. I hope he's alright. I'll check on them both when I'm done tere. It's real strange, though. The lights are still on but the phone ain't workin'. Henry says it's a slow-burn since it was the Main power generator that went out. Whatever that means. Golly, should've stayed back at the farm like ya said, Pop. Why do I always let everyone down?
1 WEEK AFTER HAMARTIA
It is Finished.
I've freed them. Saved them from their suffering. They are safe.
And Now I am alone. Alone with that… that thing. That red, blind thing that crawled out of…
I've been having nightmares. dreams. Of blood and eyeballs. And something else. You know when you have a dream… and in the morning you can't remember the specifics of it, but you remember the feeling it gave you? Excitement, uneasiness? It felt… like that, except only one aspect of the dream can I not remember. But I remember the feeling. guilt, shame, fear.
And when I woke up, I heard the loud whispers of some thing in my ears. And they slowly descended as I regained my consciousness. Like the static distortion that fills our vision when you suddenly stand up.
What does this mean? There's no more that could have been done. for them.
3 WEEKS AFTER MALFUNCTION
(OLIVER): Oliver.. Doyle, uh, Janitor here and .. Yeah.
(OLIVER): another progress report, uh, Henry says we're cooked in terms of food and.. Miss Delta is.. not doin' real well. He says we've just bout run out of food but.. he says he thinks he might be able to fix the stuff downstairs. But he says no one should go down there. It's not safe, he says.
(OLIVER): I've been trying to check on Cecil but… he keeps his darn door locked. I'm gettin' worried.. about all of dem. If I could.. actually just do somethin'. anythin', to help 'em.. I'd do it in a heartbeat.
2 WEEKS AFTER HAMARTIA
I heard tapping. scratching. On the hatch. He couldn't have returned. Could he?
No, that's impossible. There is… no one left. what am I hearing?
…
There, there it is again.
The scratching is coming from outside the walls.
The whispers have become worse, like anemic visual disruptions, I hear them every few hours as a migraine hits me.
The dreams make me afraid to sleep. I've began sleeping less. 5 hours. No more than that.
What Have I done to deserve this, Wormwood?
4 WEEKS AFTER MALFUNCTION
audio is distant and indistinct.
(HENRY): You're doing fine, Delta. There's no need to panic. panicking won't help out you at all.
(DELTA): I'm hungry.. Henry, I'm sorry I told-
(HENRY): Shh, it's alright. don't get in a tizy. It's all good now. You.. you think I'm holding out on you guys?
(DELTA): N- no, I'm sorry..
(HENRY): I'm hurt, Delta, you really think I'd.. just let you suffer? Believe me, Delta, that's what I'm trying to stop.
An indistinct whimper is heard.
(Henry); Oh.. Delta, don't give me that look. tell you what, I'll help you. You're getting hysterical, you're getting panicked. I know exactly what will calm those urges, you know?
(DELTA): N- no, wait, p- p- please…
Delta's breathing seems to noticeably quicken.
(OLIVER): Hey, um.. Mister Henry? I just had a question.
(HENRY): Oliver? Sorry, a little busy here.
(OLIVER): It's just, uhh.. Cecil, you see.. He's havin' an episode. In the lounge.
(HENRY): What? he hasn't come out of his room in weeks. he-
Boots against marble floor, footsteps trailing away*
(OLIVER): …
(OLIVER): Delta?
(DELTA): I- I can't let him get it.
(OLIVER): What?
(DELTA): I don't want him to die. Ollie, We need food. I can't let him have the flare..
(OLIVER): The.. Flaregun? In the Storage closet? Delta.. you're worrin' me.
(DELTA): Please.. I don't want him to get it. I don't want us to die. I don't want him to die. He needs food.. I can't give him food if I don't have.. food.
(OLIVER): But… Henry says there isn't much left-
(DELTA): Please… Food.. flare. He can't have it. he needs it.. please..
(OLIVER): Okay, I'll… I'll get you food… I promise.
(DELTA): Thank you… Ollie.
A Quiet whimper.
(OLIVER): I'll… I'll make you proud, Delta.
3 WEEKS AFTER HAMARTIA
I cannot leave. I tried, but My mind was overcome. I've seen what I can't know. I glimpsed at that thing. IT's tendrils and eyes covered everywhere.
I do not deserve this. I ran to our quarters. I hid, like a child. All outside my room I heard the heavy boots, the tapping on the door, scratching on the walls.
I hear bells, ringing, ringing, ringing. I'm hiding. I cannot sleep, not that the waking world is any better than the nightmares. All saints will suffer tragedies.
1 MONTH AFTER MALFUNCTION
(OLIVER): I- I have the key.
metallic jingling, followed by doorknob turning.
Creaking of hinges.
(OLIVER): Wait… what? What? But… He said there was barely any… left.
(OLIVER): I- I need to find the flaregun, firstly. come on, keep your head straight, Oliver…
Movement.
(OLIVER): There…
Rustling of fabric.
(OLIVER): The food and…
(OLIVER): …
(OLIVER): He doesn't need this.
Audio of a small metallic item banging distantly on metal.
Bootish footsteps.
(HENRY): Oliver? What are you doing?
(OLIVER): You-… Henry.
(HENRY): Did you… you stole my key? Oliver… we need to be working… together.

4 WEEKS AFTER HAMARTIA
I have to kill it. Or die and be at peace from this horror.
What I have done, when will it come for me?
___
4 MONTHS AFTER HAMARTIA
And here we are.
are you feeling better now?
hehehe…
I robbed you of your speech for 30 days. How does it feel now? Are you… better? Have I cured you?
No… Nothing could cure a monster.
And now you can see me. so much better now. I've finally shattered your mind. A vegetable unwilling to speak. perhaps I should make you speak, isn't that familiar?
Open your mouth, so I can make you gag on your own teeth, Lastor.
Screaming
You've pulled your hair out, and tore your lips off, your grey skin, mottled and pierced, cavernous cavities run through it where infection runs rampant, lesions. Lastor, you may be horrified at what I've made you become, what you've made yourself be, But to me, oh, Lastor, you've never been more honest to me!
I heard, once were a hard-working man. Killed a mile and a half from here…
His head was found in a driving wheel and his body ever, never be found…
'and so to hell with you… but then, you're already there, aren't you?'
Scrawling on paper.
4 MONTHS AFTER HAMARTIA
He is finally asleep.
I don't know how he can, but he is.
I will attempt to walk.
Labored groans, followed by a loud thud onto a solid, hard surface.
Not yet…
Dragging or sliding across a smooth surface
Kill the source of my demise…
Kill it's Controller.
4 MONTHS AFTER HAMARTIA
The key, the key, where is it? That boy… where is it?
Audio of a small metallic item banging distantly on metal.
The secondary Level.
Hobbling footsteps, pained groans.
Rattling of doorknob, creaking of hinges.
Climbing on ladder, labored groans.
What?
Red water, Four feet deep, fills the cavernous, factorious sub-level. something prowls beneath it. something of familial bond. Mute and blind, A protector wrought down. A thing lurking in the deep..
I dropped into the churning, scarlet liquid. As I began to move. some thing moved with me. a disruption in the water began heading for me. I quickly rushed to one of the generators. the disturbance drew closer. Quickly, I grabbed onto one of the pipes and hauled myself up onto the machine as a long mangled hand reached up and probed for me blindly, grazing across the metal of the generator.
Heavy sigh
Where is it?
…
What is that?
I saw a shiny little thing in the dark Waters. Reflecting what little light was there. The key. The Key. The Key by the Power Generator which powered the satellite phones
That thing was hunting. prowling. searching for me. Above me were the cables and pipes connecting the whole generation plant. I began to climb them. A drop from this height might have been fatal, but most likely not. Worse, I would drop into the Creature's pool
Grunts
The Thing began to hear me. The pipes and wires creaked above me. They would not support my weight for long
I was hanging directly over the liquid, inching, climbing closer and closer to the Generator.
Loud Creak.
It heard me
A loud shriek as the huge thing, like a giant emaciated man, lunges up at the cables upon which I was climbing. It's face looked like a dead man's plastered upon a moving thing's body. No mouth and no eyes, but it did not look like it never had any.
it smashed against the pipes, breaking them and disconnecting several. quickly I jumped over In the direction of the machine and key.
Loud bang and a thunderous, pained yell followed by stifled breaths.
I submerged myself and grabbed the key as the thing plunged back into the water and began it's pursuit of me.
Swiftly, I climbed onto the top of the Com generator.
I jumped from the top of it onto the main power generator. I reached down and flipped on one lever.
The creature gained speed, preparing to ram the generator.
I sprinted over and reached over and pulled the other lever on Rapidly, pulling my hand out of the water as it electrified. It screamed and shrieked as it was fried alive as the water conducted the electricity.
The phones were never broken, were they, Lastor?
3 WEEKS BEFORE HAMARTIA
Quiet, Labored groans can be heard.
(HENRY): whispering hey, Archie.
…
(HENRY): It makes me sad looking at you like this. You know I didn't want to do that. But I didn't have a choice. Just like I don't have one now.
Struggling, Labored grunts are heard.
(HENRY): Shhh… Don't worry. I'm making this right now. Brother. I've been down and out my whole life. Downtrodden. But now I'm the hero.
Panicked grunts and the sound of a struggle.
(HENRY): Just….
Slice, and pooling of liquid.
(HENRY): It's okay. It's okay. You're safe now.
(HENRY): you're free.
14 MONTHS AFTER HAMARTIA
Metallic jingling, followed by doorknob turning and hinges creaking.
Gasp.
putrid, hallow ranch, curated by the Farmer. hollow man, his face broken apart, a family of horror awaits within it's folds.
I looked and I saw this 'farm'. Empty. devoid. grey light dimly filled this world. Even absent of wind, yet the long weeds swayed altogether.
I continued.
I saw… a slaughtered pig, which laid within a stall. And a man, a Form, walked into the stall. Clothed like a scarecrow, and his face being…
Quick gasp.
scraping of metal prongs on decaying wood.
"Pig… greedy… Pig."
I saw… a crowbar? int the stall.
's hungry… Hungry. Pig.
I cannot run. Not after the last incident.
He's getting closer.
I will have to sneak.
clomping of footsteps as the vindictive Farmer approaches.
I attempted to sneak into the long strands of grass.
The farmer notices, his head twisting around as he shuffles over, his great Pitch held high.
Howl of agony
"Got you, Pigl."
My leg ached, and yet No blood came from the spearing. With great swiftness, I crawled to the stall where the rotting swine lay. The large Form was upon me at onee as I gripped the crowbar…
A splash of blood on my face.
Screams.
Heavy breaths
It fell upon me and was impaled upon the tool. I saw it's face.
But the gun was nowhere to be found.
There was always food, wasn't there, Lastor?
1 MONTH AFTER MALFUNCTION
(OLIVER): You-… You lied to us.
(HENRY): Oliver… buddy, what are you talking about?
(OLIVER): You.. you said… we were nearly out of… food.
(HENRY): Yeah? Well, I didn't want to let you in on this but… they're crazy. You know?
(OLIVER): Who- What are you talkin' 'bout?
(HENRY): I can't do it, Oliver. I'm the one that's going to save us. I'm going to save all of us. you're all crazy, suffering… and you don't even know.
(OLIVER): Wait… Wait… WAIT!
loud bang against something soft and hollow-sounding.
(HENRY): You're alright.
Repetitive banging, eventually followed by a crack and dripping of liquid.
Clang of metal against metal.
Heavy breathing.
(HENRY): You're alright…

What have you done…
The Matroness, the Incubator. Loving and maternal. broken by such an evil soul. betrayed. A mask to hide herself, her venomous breath, don't you hate it?
I saw the woman I once loved, twisted and corrupted by that evil Spawn.
Stop this.

I did not stop.

(DELTA): …
(HENRY): I'm… I have to do something now, alright?… It won't be pleasant. But it will be for your own good.
(DELTA): No.

(OLIVER): Well…. Ya…. You look real weak.
(DELTA): Never seen a woman after labor?

(DELTA): I've never been very strong… I guess I was strong enough, though.
(OLIVER): How'd it feel?
(DELTA): huh?
(OLIVER): I mean… Are ya okay?
(DELTA): I think so. It all still hurts but… I can't remember the pain of it very well. Not that I'd want to anyways.
A weary chuckle can be heard
(DELTA): But… I wanted to ask you something, Ollie.
(OLIVER): Of course.
(DELTA): I need you to take the Recorder now, okay? I can't really use it now with… Him.
(OLIVER): But…. Wouldn't you want to keep it for… Safety or…um…
(DELTA): That's not what it's used for, Ollie. Besides, Archie's going to help me out. I can't reasonably use it in my state. I can barely walk, Ollie.
(OLIVER): But… I don't know how to use it properly. What if it breaks or…
(OLIVER): I'm only the Janitor.
(DELTA): You're better than nothing.
(OLIVER): but…
(DELTA): Please, Oliver. For me?
(OLIVER): I- I'll…. Try my best…
(DELTA): That's what you do best.
6 DAYS BEFORE MALFUNCTION
Audio of quiet coos and humming
(ARCHIE): Hey…
(DELTA): oh, Archie…
(ARCHIE): How are you feeling?
(DELTA): Sore
(ARCHIE): I can imagine…Delta, I need to talk to you.
(DELTA): About what?
(ARCHIE): Delta, you know.
Sigh
(DELTA): Archie … I'm really tired. I don't want to-
(ARCHIE): I know. But it's time we dealt with this. You've been avoiding these questions ever since you told me about it.
(DELTA): I just… I don't want to divide us. It's not that imp-
(ARCHIE): You need to stop saying that. It is important. I know you don't want drama but you need to tell me. I won't tell anyone else if you don't want me to.
(DELTA): please, Archie…
(ARCHIE): Unity isn't worth having if one fifth is suffering.
(DELTA): …
(DELTA): It was Henry.
(ARCHIE): It was…
A faint whine followed by a hum and a wet sucking noise is heard
(DELTA): it's okay, little guy…
(ARCHIE): why … Why didn't you tell me sooner?
(DELTA): …
(DELTA): I was afraid.
(ARCHIE): Delta… I'm so sorry, If I had known, I-… Oh, this is all my fault. You tried to tell me…
(ARCHIE): …
(ARCHIE): I'll talk to him.
A sigh.
(DELTA): please… Tell him… Tell him… I'm not…. Going to tell anyone.
(ARCHIE): Delta…
(DELTA): please, Archie.
(ARCHIE): alright…
(DELTA): and Archie?
(ARCHIE): yeah?

(ARCHIE): of course.
(DELTA): Thank you, Archie.
2 WEEKS BEFORE HAMARTIA
Footsteps
(HENRY): Cecil, you're-
(HENRY): What are you doing out here?
(CECIL):…
(HENRY): Cecil?
(CECIL): I already know.
(HENRY): What?
(HENRY): Henry, You're more gone than me. What you think you're doing… You're blind.
(HENRY): Cecil, I'm trying to save us-
(CECIL): Cut me the bull, Henry. Whatever you t ink you're doing…
(CECIL): It doesn't matter anymore. I came here for a reason. And I said I don't plan on returning. I'm going out there. I'm not going to deal with your delusions anymore. You're a psychopath, Henry. You needed help a long time ago, But your brother… being the good man he is, decided to give you the benefit of the doubt. That was his mistake.
(CECIL): I hope you die in here, Henry.
(CECIL): You've made your bed, now you get to lie in it.
Climbing of ladder, metal clinking and heavy hinges and distant blowing wind.
sudden halt of winds
1 MONTH AFTER MALFUNCTION
In this recording, Henry seems to be whispering.
(HENRY): … Why are you here?
(HENRY): You couldn't have just… Died. You know it would have saved us all so much suffering.
(HENRY): This is your fault, I hope you know. You did this.
(HENRY): I would have… If she'd just…
Sigh
(HENRY): Doesn't matter anymore.
A quiet coo.
(HENRY): You know, no one could save you right now if something…. Happened. Not like you don't deserve it. Demon.
(HENRY): And you have the gall to not even open your eyes.
Quick, Violent movements. Infant cries.
(HENRY): Open your eyes…
After roughly 5 minutes of this, there is a sudden stop, though the screams continue for an estimated 5 more minutes before footsteps are heard and the recording device is shut off.

5 MONTHS AFTER HAMARTIA
I stepped over and walked to the medicine cabinet, pulling it open. Finding the flaregun lodged into the small cabinet.
It's time to finish this. Kill the Controller.

"I won't let you do this."
Heavy breathes, dragging.

Maybe… maybe you should.. forgive.
"Forgive? Forgive you? After everything? No one could forgive you. I hate you".

"And neither will you."
A sudden and sharp cry of agony rings out.

Note found in what was presumed to be the personal resting quarters of Medical Practitioner Nurse Delta Morgan and Maintenance and Electrical worker Henry Lastor, in the Croll Antarctic Research Bunker.
"And there, I saw a tall form, clothed in a black duffle coat and cargo trousers. It's heavy, Bootish footsteps echoed through the bunker. And when I gazed upon it's face, oh behold! I saw a grimy skull, pits of blackness staring upon me, and long ebony tendrils stretched from it's dome like twisted branches and moved like static. I felt a sickness inside me. It's hands were like voidish, gnarled roots crooked into the mimic of digits. It did not walk, and yet I saw it move. It doth not speak, it whispered and screamed at once. But I knew only I could hear it. I was like the prophets of old. Like Isaiah. Except interpreting visions from the Devil than of God."

Final Notes
Documents compiled after the obtainment of SAP-035, the Audio Tapes, and the final investigation.
!WARNING!
Document has been altered. Proceed with caution.
Item#: SAP-035
DANGER Level: Orange
Divergent Class: [5%C, 5%D, 6%P]
Description:
SAP-035 is a designation that refers to a male infant of approximately 8 months of age of underwhelming weight and length. SAP-035 appears identical to any non-anomalous child of a similar age, with the apparent nonexistence of the infant's Bulbus Oculi (Eyeballs). The entity's eyelids seem fused closed over the devoid sockets, thus, evidently, rendering SAP-035 seemingly blind.
However, SAP-035 purportedly possesses tendril-like appendages varying in size, length and number. Upon the end of each is connected individual eyeballs.
These appendages appear invisible to the normal, naked human eye and are difficult to capture optically on recordings. Additionally, the appendages appear to originate predominately from the dorsum (back), laterals (sides) of the torso and the underside of the cranium (back of the head).
It is unknown if these appendages are directed or independent of the brain and/or body of SAP-035, but recent information suggests the members are indeed directed by the cerebrum to an extant.
The major anomalous effects of SAP-035 occur during periods in which SAP-035 or a person which SAP-035 has a positive connection to is threatened or harmed. In these scenarios, it has been observed that SAP-035's appendages will proceed to monitor or "stalk" the offending individual to the best of it's ability. Despite having presumed limited optical sensory, the appendages, and thus SAP-035 itself, will generally become aware of the location of the individual to a reasonable extent.
These appendages will often invoke a great sense of paranoia, regret and fear in the individual, In addition to disturbing hallucinations, nightmares and alterations to the brain chemistry of the affected person(s), causing severe mental instability and degradation varying on prolonged exposure to SAP-035's appendages while in their predatory state.
Furthermore, due to unknown reasons, many individuals with already unbalanced brain chemistry, such as persons with mental disorders or cerebral conditions, have seemed to be able to view SAP-035's tendrils to a limited degree.
During this time, SAP-035 has also been known to affect electronical and digital devices, with heavy imagery imagery of eyes and blood.
Aftermath Protocols:
SAP-035 requires supervision and care just as any non-anomalous infant. Nursery staff and handler staff are to give SAP-035 proper provisions including milk, sustenance, clothing and appropriate diapers. SAP-035 is to be held in a standard Nursery cell with 1 female member of nursery staff that SAP-035 has shown attachment towards to be present with SAP-035 during feeding and resting periods respectively. No electronic devices, digital devices, or mentally ill personnel are to be within 50 meters of SAP-035's cell.
"Trauma-induced Anomalies" Lecture by Archivist Ezekiel
SAP-035, after being retrieved by the Repository, has undergone several extensive psychiatric evaluations, many of which were inconclusive due to the Anomaly's proposed age, but while others suggest a level of psychiatric trauma and instability, which has been observed in heightened degrees when denied access to Comforts1. As such, Therapeutic sessions with female staff members has been approved by department Director Mackenzie.
SAP-035 has showed a standard or higher level of human sapience, as well as extremely capable with his anomalous capabilities. This has led researchers to propose the introduction of SAP-035 into being an anomalous Member of staff at Site-16 in future, as compared to a Value2. This proposal has been approved reluctantly by the majority of the Apocrypha Council.
Crew member and Maintenance/Electrical worker for the Croll Antarctic Research Bunker, Henry Samuel Lastor was found frostbitten in the snow next to the entrance Hatch of the aforementioned Research Bunker. Mr. Lastor was found with numerous self-inflicted mutilation wounds, as well as a warped sense of reality. Believing the approaching Repository agents to be "Angels of God", and claiming he was "Freed". Lastor would later be taken to Site-13 and admitted to it's asylum ward. Mr. Lastor's patient file can be found here: Lastor, Henry
