Description:
SAP-019 appears to be an anomalous entity. This anomalous entity is currently unviewable unless within close proximity of at least two bright light sources. Viewers of the entity in darkness have caused great feelings of horror and of immense fear and despair. Viewers (at least those that are responsive) have reported the entity to be "Terrifying" and claim "It's body distorts and contorts in ways that no human should have to bear witness to". through witness accounts and testimonies, it has been determined that SAP-019 has the capability to comprehend what the human mind deems "Too horrific", and takes advantage of this knowledge. more so, the entity seems to be able to change it's bodily structure at will, and often does so. most commonly, the entity morphs into what the mind deems "Too scary" (Which from now on will be referred to as "the Phobos Effect"). This, surprisingly, differs little from person to person, and most of the differences seem to be purposeful changes done by SAP-019.
However, this intimidating capability is not without it's flaws, as bright lights in close proximity, as mentioned before, negate the changing process to a degree. The higher the luminescence the more the effects are diffused. During complete passivity (Usually due to extreme luminescent exposure) one can accurately and safely view SAP-019's stable form. The entity appears to be a 7ft. tall male with pale skin and a long, slender face. It's hair is white and reaches down past the shoulders. It wears a modern business suit and, as some have noted, has limbs slightly longer the others. some claim an arm, while others claim a leg or even the neck. The race of the entity is unknown, though it appears caucasian and, as many have noted, "even if it had a race, it would be irrelevant".
Finally, SAP-019 appears basically immortal, with it's presence in cave etchings [See Addendum-019-02] and regenerative attributes seemingly making it invincible, not that anyone would be capable of harming it in it's aggressive state anyways. But, as with most things about this anomaly, Light negates it. SAP-019 seemingly cannot regenerate while within the presence of strong luminescence.
Aftermath Protocols:
SAP-019 is to be contained at Site-16 for it's malicious nature and it's crimes against humanity. SAP-019 should have 5 max luminescence light fixtures within it's cell pointed directly on it. There is to be 2 inch thick bulletproof glass pane on the door of the cell for observation purposes. SAP-019 should not be terminated as it's capability to comprehend abstract human emotions should be studied and could not be done so post-mortem.
Discovery:
SAP-019 was discovered after the U.S. Government became aware of a powerful object in North Korea during the Korean War. After some contemplation, the U.S. Government contacted the SAP Repository in an attempt to gain some leverage in the war. The Repository then investigated after a covert, highly trained team ventured into North Korea and contact was lost with them. The Institution sent a Tactical Field Team to scope out to the area and contact was lost with them. You can find the transcript for their expedition later on this file. After this, the Repository sent a cavalry team to the area and successfully retrieved SAP-019, as well as a Johan Erzahler, the only surviving member of the covert U.S.
team.

My mind rips, tearing itself as what it sees is what it cannot. It must not. The thing is not human, but it is like a human. It is everything a human shouldn't be. Everything… and nothing. Unknown, it hurts to see, to view. Horror is all i can see. bloodshed, war, holocaust, child sacrifice. it is that. and yet it is nothing. it's fingers are too long, too long. it's body contorts. it is tall, it is what you fear. the fear your mind erases from your brain to save you from insanity. Description of cave paintings found near the initial region

the cave etchings that were found were deeply unsettling to the agents which came across them, not to mention the man…
the accounts of the etchings were difficult to deduce due to the majority of the personnel involved being less then mentally well. But after many interviews, the details came out for the most part. the details are collected below in my own wording, so be wary.
[Several paintings of a tall figure nearby smaller or normal size figures. paintings depicting the tall figure causing malicious activity such as tearing apart other, smaller figures and the figures fighting back with spears, presumably. a few paintings showing the figures offering small figures, children, I'd assume, to the tall figure as sacrifices. finally, a depiction of an area of huts being destroyed and bodies laying on the ground except one who cowers in a cave with what seems to be a torch, of which the tall figures shies away from.]
Exploration Log-019-1
FOREWORD: the Team is investigating the possible occurance
of an anomalous weapon in North Korea.
INTERVENING TEAM: Iosis-3, (Investigative)
NUMBER OF TEAM MEMBERS: 4+team captain % Total.
[BEGIN LOG]
I-2: testing, testing, everyone hear me?
I-CAP: Yes, we can all hear you, 2.
I-2; sorry.
I-3: alright, so we're looking for some kind of weapon?
I-CAP: something like that.
I-4: so, like a gun or a sword or something?
I-CAP: think more like a cannon. or a tank.
I-3: understood.
[The team is let off the helicopter into the region. the
team proceeded in relative silence for about an hour,
engaging in the occasional small talk. roughly about 1 hour
1 hour later, the team encounters several mauled corpses on the footpath.]
I-3: Guess this means we're on the right track, right Cap?
I-2: this is….
[I-2 proceeds to walk to one of the corpses and vomits upon seeing the carcass in detail.]
I-CAP: 2, you good?
I-2: No, Cap… these bodies.. there's somethin' not right
with em.
I-Cap: Like what? the fact that they're dead?
I-2: No, i mean.. I- I don't know..
I-4: Look, we're looking for some kind of weapon, the
bodies not looking normal is pretty basic stuff. Don't get
so worked up about it.
I-2: You're probably right. Just…
I-CAP: Come on, let's keep going.
I-3: Hey, captain? didn't the eggheads say a special
forces team came here and there was, like, 6 or so?
I-CAP: Yeah, the signal was lost. what, you think this is
them?
I-3: I mean, it's possible.
I-4: this is right next to a war zone, there's bodies
everywhere.
I-CAP: What are you getting at, 3?
I-3: I mean, if this IS them, hypothetically, there's only
5 bodies here. which would mean the last is still alive.
I-4: or his body just isn't with the others
I-CAP: what's that noise? You hear tha-
[The signal cuts off here and doesn't return. after several
days of attempted communicated, the signals become lucid again and a voice, unknown initially to the staff on duty, came through.)
Unknown: (Whispering) Someone, please help me…
anyone hear me? can someone- can anyone hear me?
Staff: who is this? Please identify yourself.

Unknown: I can't.. i can't say my name… it'll hear me…

Staff: Can you tell me where you are?
Unknown: You're trying to trick me, aren't you? You're it,

Unknown: On the bodies… the bodies..next to..

(The signal cuts off here again and does not return. after
much indecision in the Council, Regent-5 overruled Regent-6 and Regent-7 and enacted the decision to send an artillery field team to both obtain the anomaly in the region and rescue the unknown speaker.
The unknown speaker was later discovered to be the voice of Johan Ent Bin Erzahler, a german air force captain.
Addendum-019-3
Upon the artillery team locating the initially unknown survivor, a wounded SAP-019 and a distressful Johan Erzähler holding a Jerry rigged weapon were observed. This was, and would remain to be, the first ever instance of SAP-019 being harmed without use of conventional high-watt luminescence. After which, Mr. Erzähler seemed unaffected by the properties of SAP-002, of which was considered a neurological marvel. Due to this, Mr. Erzähler was offered a position at the Repository for his outstanding mental aptitude in the face of such a dangerous anomaly, as well as his potential psychogenic advantages with archival and other miscellaneous cerebral projects. During which SAP-019 was apprehended and taken to Site-19. It was at this time that agents were informed by Mr. Erzähler that the anomaly quote "hates the light".
