Description: SAP-009 is a seemingly normal room with no lights in it. The room has yellow walls, and two rectangular holes on one side. The lighting of the room changes at various times of day, the most often occurring between 12:30 and 2:25. SAP-009 is noted to have a small amount of electromagnetic radiation, which classifies this anomaly under the yellow danger level. This slight radioactivity can cause damage to the DNA in a living cell.
Dr. Mal Borrow was tasked with this anomaly due to his expertise in electromagnetic phenomena. The two holes on the side of the room is where the most electromagnetic radioactivity manifests. He described the holes as “acting like vents”. After the Site 15 officials requested further research, a camera was lowered into the two openings. The footage is currently unavailable, but according to those who viewed it at Research Room 07, there was “flashing white lights that flashed faster and faster until you couldn’t tell they were flashing anymore”.
Aftermath Protocols: SAP-009 is to be kept behind a glass wall at Research Room 07 at Site 15. Any anomalous activity due to SAP-009 is to be recorded and archived on the Site 15 main computer. Any entity other than Dr. Mal Burrow that comes into contact with SAP-009 is to be contained and used as a test subject. If Dr. Mal Borrow is unavailable, then qualified personnel are selected to keep note of SAP-009.
Discovery: The repository came across this room during refurbishment of Site 15. SAP-009 is noted to have a small amount of electromagnetic radiation, which classifies this anomaly under the yellow danger level. The refurbishment of Site 15 was due to the outdated technology and rust everywhere. The project concept was sent to The Director by the Site 15 officials. The Director ended up commissioning the project after many different forms of asking for it were sent.
Incident Log 009-A
Incident 009-1: TS-███ was operating the booth outside the glass wall that SAP-009 is contained behind, when he accidentally opened the door that lets people into SAP-009. He was unaware of this for his entire shift. Later that day, when the Site 15 staff were reviewing security footage, he was confronted, interviewed, and contained as a test subject.
Below is a transcript of an interview between TS-███ and Containment Specialist Mike Terall.
[BEGIN LOG]
TS-███: “Why am I here???”
Mike Terall: “You’re going to be contained as a test subject.”
TS-███: “Well, why?!??!? Actually, why??? I want a clear answer!”
Mike Terall: “You came into contact with an anomaly, and we can’t allow you to just roam freely. I’m here to ask you if you experienced anything… strange… during your shift. You didn’t record anything on the site computer.”
TS-███: “You can’t just lock me up and experiment on me! I’m a qualified Repository personnel! You need me!”
Mike Terall: “I asked you a question.”
TS-███: “…Anomalous? It was only the brightness changing. But you knew about that.”
Mike Terall: says something inaudible into his earpiece
Dr. Mal Borrow is heard walking into the interview room. He sits in a chair and unpacks his things. He proceeds to do various tests on TS-███, until TS-███ is tasked to lift a 1 by 1 meter tungsten cube.
Dr. Mal Borrow: “Hmm… interesting. It seems that an EMS1-like situation is happening to his muscles, making them stimulate. His strength has greatly increased due to this…”
TS-███ is grabbed by two men in black suits and dragged out of the room.

Incident 009-2: TS-███ was put in SAP-009 for a long period of time. Regular check-ups happened as needed. After a while, TS-███ started showing extreme agitation and hostility toward Site 15 staff. It was kept in SAP-009 for a very long time after that, with check-ups becoming less and less as it became more hostile. After 4 months, it didn’t look human anymore. Food had to be given to TS-███ by quickly opening the door, setting the food down (or throwing it, as one scared Repository employee did), and quickly shutting the door.
After 2 years of containment, TS-███ started to say things that didn’t make sense. Its behavior was very animal-like. Eventually, Dr. Mal Borrow was sent in to check on it, and TS-███ was recorded saying “Please. Please put me out of my misery. It’s too much. It’s too much. It’s in my head.” Dr. Mal Borrow asked it repeatedly “What’s in your head?”, but it would never give a feasibly understandable answer. On 6/16/2000, TS-███ was terminated.
