DESCRIPTION:
SAP-003 denotes a specific, undocumented species of tree, however rare, most commonly located in the Mid-West US and Eastern Germany. Animals are frequently known to seek out and consume instances of SAP-021 while in the seed stage. Shortly after consumption, Fauna experience physical and neurological symptoms akin to those of cervids affected by Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy (TSE). Approximately 9 weeks after digestion, animals tend to void their bowels and expell multiple more instances of SAP-021 still in it's seed stage. After this, the advancement of symptoms will cease in most, with the remainder often expiring. Instances of SAP-003 in it's seed form are often described as resembling American Pokeweed Berries.
The most common requirement for the process of germination to begin is through exposure to average winter weather. The growth of a SAP-003 seedling mimics that of a black oak tree, though with an incredibly shortened time of growth comparably. The outer bark resembles a black, smooth, viscous surface, while the inner wood is of a bilious hue and is frequently described as soft and mushy.
