Location: Unknown, Sweden.
The Legend: One day, long ago, a Leshy grew tired, Hollow and empty and lost, he searched for this something to quench his thirst. His nostalgic longing for days past. For a world he remembered. To revitalize the things of old. But there was to be nothing of the sort. He shunned his brothers and shut himself away in his old cabin, the once joyful, cozy abode, now a voidish dwelling of Forgotten Memories. Obsessing over his tomes and scrolls neglecting his duties to his Wilderness for search of this thing that might make him whole. And in his absence, the forest grew up twisted and empty. Hollowed. The Husks of those fallen stood up, not even the Lost souls were given peace, they boiled in their agony and solemnity. Death, like all others of the Leshy's siblings, was estranged. So insidious and inverted grew the forest that the roots reached further below them than did the branches above. And the Leshy became like Walking Skin. A hollow form of himself. Searching, forever searching, for his youth. Engrossing himself in what might bring him meaning once again.
Info: the Titular designation "The Hollows" refers to an expansive forest in remote, central Sweden. The exact specifics of the Forest's location are currently unknown. The Hollows is the title given to the woods by it's inhabitants, also known as the Natives, which seem generally unable to leave. The region appears to be a hotspot or catalyst for abundant Anomalous activity and expressly supernatural entities. The Hollows seems to hold a sort of "corruption" (which is currently not very well-understood) that spreads through it's local flora, fauna, inhabitants and environment. The lack of knowledge of a definite location has greatly impeded exploration attempts and has denied the possibility of direct study with an established Area and thus Field Teams have been able to (scarcely) conduct exploration into it. And fewer have returned. Several individuals have accidentally wandered into The Hollows and have seemingly been able to traverse in and out. It is unknown if this is anomalous or not. Natives seem to have the most necessary survival knowledge regarding the Hollow's dangers, so all advice by them should be heeded or at least greatly considered.
