FOREWORD: Anissa is being questioned regarding her mental and emotional state after the retrieval of her son, Charles Blackwell, after his abduction and torture under the hands of the APD Institute.

(CARMAN): Good morning, Ma'am.
Director Blackwell is silent, Jittering her leg.
(CARMAN): Ma'am? You have to-
(BLACKWELL): What is the question?
(CARMAN): Uh…. Ma'am, how have you been feeling… Emotionally… Since the retrieval of your son? Um… Charles Blackwell.
(BLACKWELL): My mental state couldn't be better. Why wouldn't it be?
(CARMAN): uhh….
(BLACKWELL): Don't tell me you actually believe that Sandy.
(CARMAN): Ma'am… Please refer to me as-
(BLACKWELL): Sandy, get off your horse. Just because I'm in an Interviewee chair doesn't make me below you. Now, you've currently been doing a terrible job so far at questioning me. So go on.
(CARMAN): …
(CARMAN): How has your emotional state been since the retrieval of your son… Director.
(BLACKWELL): My son came back with two missing fingers and a scorched chest. He could barely stand. Now how do you think I felt?
(CARMAN): I'm… I'm not asking how you felt in the moment.
(BLACKWELL): Then what are you asking me, Sandy?
(CARMAN): I'm not going to repeat myself again…
(BLACKWELL): …
(BLACKWELL): You know losing just one finger… Can make you retarded in a lot of instruments. Piano .. guitar…
(CARMAN): Director… He stayed strong. He never cracked. Never told them anything.
(BLACKWELL): And what if he did?
(CARMAN): …
(BLACKWELL): What if he slipped up… Through the fire and steel being ripped into him. What if he did? Would he be nothing? A nobody. A cowardly traitor who gave up our secrets?
(CARMAN): …
(BLACKWELL): That's what I thought.
(CARMAN): … What is your feelings towards our recent Unerkennbar assault on the offending Institute Site?
(BLACKWELL): …There's a reason I led it. And it's not because of the Repository. It's not a good idea to hurt the son of a mob boss, is it? It's even worse to torture the boy of a Facility Director.
(BLACKWELL): I'm glad he could forgive him, Sandy… Really, I am.

AFTERWORD: Director Blackwell was scheduled to receive therapeutic sessions weekly, but refused. Instead choosing to take an indefinite leave with her son, claiming "We need time to heal. In our own ways".
